Recap: Partner Prenatal Yoga

We started the year off strong at The Yoga Hive with our Partner Prenatal Yoga Workshop. What a treat it was to share such an intimate practice with pregnant folks. If you missed us, our next Partner Prenatal yoga workshop will be later this year but always have the option of booking a 1-on-1 prenatal session for you and your partner.

What did we learn?

We explored a few key topics during this workshop including birth positions, massage techniques, self advocacy, and the emotional stages of labor.

We also learned that positions like squatting and lunging opens hips about 30% more than laying. Some of our partners have never done yoga before today, and they were just fine. We bonded, we laughed, we cried. Most of all, we made a mind body connection with our partner and baby. That's something special.
