April Newsletter: Prenatal Yoga is self-care.

As we welcome the month of April, we want to remind you that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your growing baby. Prenatal yoga is a fantastic way to prioritize your self-care during pregnancy. Not only does it help alleviate common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain and fatigue, but it also helps prepare your body for childbirth.


In addition to our regular prenatal yoga classes, we also have a special event coming up in May that we would like to invite you to. Breastfeeding 101 is on May 7th, and it's a great opportunity to learn everything you need to know about breastfeeding your little one.


Breastfeeding is a wonderful way to nourish and bond with your baby, but it can also be challenging. This workshop will cover everything from proper latch techniques to common breastfeeding issues and how to address them.


 




What did we learn?


So far we have learned that if birth is a marathon, then prenatal yoga is the best practice.


We also learned techniques to help prepare their bodies and minds for childbirth. Through a combination of physical postures, breathing exercises, and mindfulness meditation, prenatal yoga helps promote relaxation, reduce stress, and alleviate common discomforts during pregnancy.
